      The Undergraduate Certificate Program in Professional Behavior Analysis is a specialized certificate program designed for undergraduate-level learners. The program aims to systematically cultivate participants’ theoretical knowledge, scientific methodology, and applied competencies in the field of behavior analysis. Through a structured curriculum, participants will develop a comprehensive understanding of the core concepts of behavior analysis, research methodologies, and their practical applications in areas such as education, mental health, and social services. The program provides a strong academic foundation for those who plan to pursue professional work in behavior analysis or continue advanced studies in related disciplines.

      The Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) is a globally influential academic organization in the field of behavior analysis. This program has been recognized under the ABAI Tiered Model of Education at the Tier 3b level. This recognition indicates that the program meets international standards in curriculum structure, academic quality, and professional training in behavior analysis, and it is officially included in the list of ABAI-recognized programs. The ABAI Tiered Model of Education is a global framework designed to evaluate and recognize educational programs in behavior analysis. It aims to promote the development and standardization of behavior analysis education worldwide while providing guidance for programs to continuously improve their educational quality.

项目宗旨

Program Mission

   本项目依托北京师范大学教育学部开展。北京师范大学致力于将教育学科建设成为中国教育创新的重要源泉，同时建设成为高素质教师培养的重要基地、未来教育家的摇篮、教育政策思想的重要智库，以及促进国际教育交流与中国教育文化产业发展的重要中心。本项目旨在提升我国特殊教育专业人员在应用行为分析（Applied Behavior Analysis，ABA）领域的专业能力与循证教学水平。通过系统开展应用行为分析课程学习，本项目进一步提升我国特殊教育专业人员在应用行为分析方法应用及循证教学实践方面的能力。通过这一项目的实施，致力于推动我国特殊教育领域一线教学实践的发展，并促进相关领域的科学研究与学术进步。

      This program is based at the Faculty of Education at Beijing Normal University, which aims to establish the education discipline at Beijing Normal University as a significant source for educational innovation in China. It also aims to be a hub for the cultivation of high-quality teachers, a cradle for future educators, a repository of educational thought for policymaking, and an important center for international education exchange and China’s education and cultural industry. The objective of our program is to enhance the capabilities and evidence-based teaching proficiency of special education professionals in China in the field of applied behavior analysis. By conducting systematic courses in ABA, this project aims to further enhance the capabilities of special education professionals in China in the application of behavior analysis and their proficiency in evidence-based practices. Through this initiative, the program seeks to promote frontline teaching practices and scientific research in the field of special education in China.

入学要求

Admission and Graduation Requirements

Ø  入学要求：

本科及以上学历或本科在读（不限专业）；

若有两年以上工作经验，学历要求可放宽至大专；

通过入学面试及基础能力评估。

Ø  Applicants should:

•          Hold a bachelor’s degree or above, or currently be enrolled in an undergraduate program (all majors accepted)

•          Hold a junior college diploma while having work experience no less than two years

•          Pass the admission interview and basic competency assessment

Ø  结业要求：

完成规定课程学时并通过课程考核。

Ø  To complete the program, participants must:

•          Fulfill all required course hours

•          Successfully pass all course assessments

Administrative Policies and Procedures

Ø  项目历时与报名：

本培训项目通常每年6月启动，采用线上教学形式，通过钉钉平台进行授课。学员一般在两年半至三年内完成全部课程学习。招生信息通常于每年3月或4月在微信公众号 “孤独症儿童教育研究中心” 发布。

Ø  Program Duration and Enrollment: 

The program typically begins each June and is delivered online through the DingTalk platform. Participants usually complete all coursework within two and a half to three years. Admission announcements are generally released in March or April each year through the official WeChat public account “Education Research Center for Children with Autism”

Ø  缴费：

培训项目由多门课程组成。学员在每门课程开始前缴纳相应课程费用，无需一次性缴纳全部学费。对于因特殊原因复学或重修的学员，同一课程无需重复缴费，后续课程费用按实际修读课程缴纳。

Ø  Payment: 

The program consists of multiple courses. Participants pay the corresponding course fee before each course begins, rather than paying the entire tuition at once. For participants who resume their studies or retake courses due to special circumstances, previously completed course fees will not be charged again. Fees for subsequent courses are paid according to the courses actually taken.

应用行为分析专业培训项目（中级）的建立与获得ABAI Tier 3b国际认证，标志着北京师范大学在行为分析教育领域与国际专业标准接轨的重要进展。项目不仅为学员提供系统的行为分析专业训练，也为我国特殊教育与行为干预领域培养具有科学素养与社会责任感的专业人才。通过该项目的实施，学校致力于推动行为科学在教育、心理健康与社会服务领域的应用与发展，为提升孤独症及其他发展障碍群体的教育与社会支持水平提供人才与学术支撑。

The establishment of the Undergraduate Certificate Program in Professional Behavior Analysis and its ABAI Tier 3b recognition represent an important step for Beijing Normal University in aligning its behavior analysis education with international professional standards. The program not only provides systematic professional training in behavior analysis but also cultivates professionals with strong scientific literacy and social responsibility for the fields of special education and behavioral intervention in China. Through the implementation of this program, the university aims to promote the application and development of behavioral science in education, mental health, and social services, and to provide professional talent and academic support for improving education and social support for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
