Lesley Gourlay博士系英国伦敦大学学院教育学院应用语言学教授，学术写作中心主任，文化、传媒与媒体系系主任。她在伦敦大学学院教育学院长期讲授“英文学术写作的理论与实践”课程。其研究兴趣包括学术写作、数字媒介对当代大学的影响、高等教育国际化等。

Dr Lesley Gourlay is Reader in Technology and Education, Director of Academic Writing Center, and Head of Department of Culture, Communication and Media at the Institute of Education, University College London, UK. She teaches the course of Theory and Practice of English Writing for Academic Purposes every year and does research into academic writing, communication and technologies in higher education, and internationalization of higher education.
